About Thrasher Marketing Search Secrets
Secrets of the Search Engines was initially lumped together with search engine tricksters, but in reality, we never encouraged tactics that were anything but above board. Some so-called search engine marketing experts would hide words behind matching colors, conduct word stuffing and the like. Our goal was to just make our customers' online shopping catalogs in a Search Optimized, Best Practices, format to ensure proper spidering and inclusion in the Search Engines for the desired and pertinent keyphrases for the content represented.
We have done very well and a few years ago we created a server-side tool called Spider Safe URL. This tool made catalogs and DYNAMIC, a.k.a. database driven websites, properly spidered. Typically when a search engine looks at dynamic Web links with code, question marks and other characters in the link it would not get cataloged properly and would be virtually invisible in the engines. Our tool, SSURL, and another created by YOURAmigo (r) would get the pages cataloged properly.
These tools caused our dynamic Websites to skyrocket to the top of the search engine listings.Search Secrets, by Rob Thrasher, was recognized in 1996 in the New York Times. Recently all the content was merged with the original content for Search Secrets, now called Thrasher Search Secrets and was updated to Thrasher Marketing to include more Web-based marketing and high tech business tools.
